Geelong Harley-Davidson has it's origins back in 1992 in a premises located in Labuan Square, Norlane, although at that time it was known as Southcoast Harley-Davidson. In 1993 the business moved from Norlane to Gordon Avenue in Geelong West. As the business grew it became neccessary to move again in 1995 to the current location at 72 Mercer Street, Geelong. By that time the business was known as Geelong Harley-Davidson.

During 1997 the business was purchased by Greg & Andrea Currie. For a number of years prior, Greg had been a partner in the business known as A.C.M.E. Trikes, which had been instrumental in involving him in Harley-Davidson related activities in Australia, Japan & America. Andrea was already a professional business woman in her own right and with their business acumen, the Currie's steered Geelong Harley-Davidson through the transition from a local motorcycle business through to Victoria's largest regional Harley-Davidson dealer.

Tragically, in July 2008 Greg passed away. Today Andrea Currie, assisted by her loyal staff, continue Greg's vision for his dealership of "We want to be the best, not necessarily the biggest"
